The Wes Gem Brand Gem Set Plier Kit No. 1  is for setting round stones only, specifically round stones set in prong earring settings.  You can also use it for closing bezels around bezel set earrings.  The range of round stones that can be used with this tool is from 1.7mm to 9.4mm.  Gem pliers 146.002 are sold separately.
